All of the BEE Window products, including windows, patio doors and entry door systems, far exceed the ratings requirements to qualify for Energy Star status. By utilizing energy efficient products, BEE Window customers generally experience heating and cooling savings of anywhere from 25 to even 50 percent.

Low Emissivity coatings (LowE) are applied to the glass and act as a reflector of heat. While many companies apply 1 to 3 coatings of LowE, BEE Window’s Energy Star glass systems use 8 to 12 coatings for maximum energy savings. Additionally, Argon Gas is used to fill the air space between the panes of glass. Bee Window fills 95 percent of the air space with Argon, for maximum thermal resistance. Those extreme applications are two of the biggest contributing factors in the BEE Window products far exceeding Energy Star standards.

Many replacement windows increase energy efficiency on a limited level when compared to the original single pane windows they are replacing. However, by applying just 1-to-3 coats of LowE and limiting the amount of Argon gas between the panes, the added efficiency is minimal, as is the return on your investment. You will probably agree that donning a sweater before venturing into sub-zero temperatures might be helpful, it is woefully inadequate compared to an Indiana winter parka.

There are actually two methods to replacing windows. This may not be something you discover in a typical window-buying conversation, and not all replacement window companies offer the choice of insert or full-frame.

Insert Replacement Windows

• 80% of window replacement consists of removing an old window frame with its sashes and “inserting” a new window in its place. Insert windows are the most common because they are user-friendly and leave the interior and exterior trim undisturbed. You get beautiful, energy-efficient replacement windows in the color and style you want, plus the job is finished and virtually maintenance free from the moment the installers leave your home.

Full-Frame Replacement Windows.

• A full-frame window installation includes the exterior trim and window sills, and requires the interior window trim to be replaced as well.  Unlike most companies, Bee Window has its own in-house staining department, and offers interior trim painted or stained to match your colors of choice.

When you re-glaze or refinish your current bathtub, it will look better for a few months . . . but after that, it will gradually revert back to its original condition. Refinishing is a band-aid, not a permanent solution. A replacement BCI Acrylic bathtub is a much more cost-effective, long-term solution.

The BCI Acrylic replacement bathtubs that Bee Window installs do not allow for mold or mildew to grow underneath, because they are non-porous. When installing, we use three different techniques in our ”triple lock seal” system to seal the bathtub and walls to make it impossible for water to seep underneath it.
